CSR Activities – DSQ visit Hong Hua Orphanage
Distinguished, Service, and Quality is DSQ CEO Mr. Johnny Tseng’s philosophy. After one can be distinguished on his own duty, we hope he can help others who are in need. To make this idea deeper into DSQ team, we arranged a visit to Hong Hua Orphanage before the Lunar New Year vacation.
Hong Hua Orphanage was founded by a retired junior high school president. They take orphans who are unqualified for government subsidy. In fact, Hong Hua never applied for government subsidy. Their fund are based on charity supporters. Moreover, after deducting their cost, Hong Hua even donate the surplus to other charity institutes.
In the Orphanage, we saw children running up and down energetically. It turns out that children wake up at 5:00 am every morning and start to do exercise. That’s why the children are all health and energetic. Besides exercise, children also need to read Sutra (Buddhism holy books). They learn to appreciate what they have through these spiritual training.
